AT A GLANCE

For homes and small premises considering the AROVENIQ range in Ghana. Start with where the lock will go and who will use it; confirm the supplied configuration before purchase.

1. Choose the door location first

A main entrance, a bedroom door and a gate have different requirements. AROVENIQ lists DX-11 Plus / Pro for assessed entrance applications, an indoor fingerprint lever lock for suitable interior doors, and a fingerprint rim lock for suitable gates or existing security doors. These are starting points for a door assessment, not confirmation that a particular unit fits your property.

Show the whole entrance and any shelter when asking for advice. An exposed gate needs its own review; the word “gate” does not establish rain protection. Check the selected model’s documented protection and the actual location rather than carrying a weather claim from another model across the range.

2. Plan everyday access and administration

Write down who needs access and who will manage it. A family may want a simple everyday method plus a physical backup; a rental or office may need a clear process for adding and removing authorized users. Ask for a demonstration of the exact methods you need on the selected unit. A phone, card or wearable having a particular feature does not by itself establish lock compatibility.

Agree who controls the administrator account and keeps the backup key. At handover, practise with the door open and confirm how access will change when a tenant, employee or family arrangement changes. Keep private codes and key locations out of a general enquiry.

3. Separate battery care from connected features

The published DX-11 Plus guidance lists a rechargeable 4200 mAh battery; the indoor model lists four replaceable AAA batteries and the gate model four replaceable AA batteries. Confirm this against the delivered unit. Capacity is not a guaranteed replacement or charging interval, and an emergency-power connection is not proof that installed batteries can be charged.

If opening from away is essential, include the network and any gateway in the decision. Nearby Bluetooth operation is different from remote access. The indoor model and the documented Tuya gate version require a compatible optional gateway for remote unlocking; gateway supply and setup must be confirmed. DX-11 app and connection details require confirmation for the exact Plus or Pro configuration.

4. Turn the comparison into a clear quotation

Send your door photos, location and essential access needs together. Request a quotation that names the model, hardware and app version, finish, included accessories and approved installation work. Current price, availability, transport and any extra work should be confirmed for that quotation; an article cannot establish today’s stock or your total project cost.

  • Door location, material and fit reviewed before ordering.
  • Essential access methods demonstrated on the selected configuration.
  • Battery care, backup entry and any gateway explained.
