AT A GLANCE
For buyers planning phone access with the AROVENIQ range. Nearby Bluetooth does not establish remote access; the lock, app, gateway and network must be confirmed as one configuration.
1. Say where you want to open the door from
“Phone unlocking” can describe different functions. With nearby Bluetooth access, a supported phone communicates within the required range of the lock. Opening while away from the property needs a supported remote path. A successful demonstration beside the door does not test that path, and a phone having internet does not mean the lock is reachable.
Also distinguish issuing a temporary PIN from sending a live unlock command. A supported code may be generated or checked through a different process; validity, synchronization and offline behaviour follow the supplied lock and app. Ask for the exact workflow you need rather than assuming every temporary-code feature works identically.
2. Confirm the hardware version and any gateway
The published indoor fingerprint-lock guidance distinguishes local Bluetooth access from remote unlocking through a compatible optional gateway. The documented Tuya gate-lock version also requires a compatible optional gateway and the necessary network connection. The gate range includes standalone and app-equipped versions; an app illustration is not proof that a standalone unit supports remote operation.
Do not assume that a gateway works with every lock bearing the same app name, or that a reference to Wi-Fi means the lock connects directly to a router. Request the exact lock version, radio protocol, gateway model and included equipment in writing. DX-11 Plus / Pro app and connectivity details must be confirmed for the supplied configuration; this guide does not select an app for an unverified unit.
3. Plan the property connection and a real remote test
For a gateway-based setup, confirm the gateway’s power supply, its link to the lock, the property internet connection and the phone’s connection. Ask for the gateway’s supported network requirements and suitable placement before buying; no universal Wi-Fi band, distance or signal-strength guarantee is stated here. Walls and the proposed position should be assessed at the property.
At handover, test the supported remote function with an authorized person at the door and the phone using a connection away from the lock’s local Bluetooth path. Agree the test with the installer and keep control of the door. Ask what happens when the router, gateway power, property internet or app service is unavailable; connected operation depends on the required parts of that path being available.
4. Keep administration and backup entry practical
Decide who owns the administrator account and who may send remote commands. Use individual supported permissions rather than casually sharing the administrator login. Check how to remove access when circumstances change, and ask about any service fees before ordering. Network-dependent convenience should be planned alongside the supplied model’s local and backup-entry methods.
- Exact lock/app version and supported remote workflow confirmed.
- Compatible gateway, supply, power and setup scope quoted where required.
- Local and remote operation demonstrated separately.
- Permission removal and backup-entry procedures explained.
