Common product and service questions
What happens if the DX11 Max battery is fully depleted?
Battery level is shown on both displays. If the battery is fully depleted, connect a compatible power bank to the exterior emergency interface for temporary power, unlock the door, and then recharge the 4200 mAh battery. A physical key provides a separate backup method.
Is the lock waterproof?
No. DX11 Max is described as resistant to everyday splashes only. It must not be represented as fully waterproof, and no IP rating is claimed.
What installation work is included?
Standard installation applies after door-fit approval and includes fitting, basic configuration, function testing and user handover. Carpentry, welding, reinforcement, repainting, special accessories and out-of-area travel are separate.
How does an after-sales request begin?
Contact AROVENIQ during service hours with the receipt or warranty record, model, installation date, photos or a short video, and a clear description of the issue.
1. Warranty period and coverage
The limited warranty runs for two years from the installation and handover date recorded on the receipt or warranty record.
It covers a confirmed manufacturing defect in the supplied lock hardware or electronics when the product has been used normally, on the approved door, and in accordance with the handover guidance.
The customer should keep the receipt or warranty record and provide the model, installation date and a clear description of the issue when requesting service.
2. Standard installation included
Standard installation includes fitting the approved lock to a compatible door, basic configuration, function testing and a basic user handover.
Carpentry, welding, reinforcement, door or frame repair, repainting, electrical work, unusual accessories and long-distance travel or transport are not part of standard installation. If required, they will be explained and priced for approval before work begins.
Extra work caused by inaccurate door information, concealed door conditions or changes requested after approval is charged separately with the customer’s prior agreement.
3. How after-sales support works
Support starts with photos, a short video and remote troubleshooting during published service hours. This helps separate operating, power, network, installation, door and product issues.
For a low battery, recharge the 4200 mAh battery using the compatible method demonstrated at handover. If it is fully depleted, a compatible power bank can provide temporary power through the exterior emergency interface so the door can be unlocked; recharge the battery before normal use resumes.
If an on-site visit or product return is reasonably required, the next step and any transport or visit charge are explained before arrangements are made.
Customers should stop using a visibly damaged, overheated or water-affected unit and contact us promptly to avoid further damage.
4. Remedy for a covered defect
After inspection confirms a covered manufacturing defect, AROVENIQ may repair the defective part or replace it with the same or a reasonably equivalent part or unit.
Repair or replacement under this limited warranty does not restart the original two-year period unless applicable law requires otherwise. The remaining original warranty continues.
A refund is not the automatic first remedy where a reasonable repair or equivalent replacement can resolve the covered defect, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
5. What the limited warranty does not cover
Normal wear, scratches, finish changes, battery-capacity reduction from normal use, lost cards or keys, forgotten codes or account access.
Misuse, forced entry, vandalism, accident, fire, lightning, power surge, insects, heavy dust, direct rain, flooding, pressure washing, prolonged moisture or corrosion. “Everyday splash resistance” does not mean waterproof and no IP rating is claimed.
Door or frame movement, sagging, alignment, structural weakness, pre-existing lock-body conditions, unauthorised installation, repair, modification or incompatible third-party parts.
Mobile network, Wi-Fi, phone, third-party App or cloud-service availability outside AROVENIQ’s reasonable control. Exact remote functions and connection requirements are demonstrated for the selected model.
Commercial or unusually high-frequency use unless that use was disclosed and approved in writing before sale.
6. Security and customer responsibilities
No lock can be represented as impossible to defeat. Security also depends on the door, frame, installation, account security and how passwords, cards, keys and phone access are managed.
The customer is responsible for changing default codes, protecting administrator access, keeping an emergency key accessible outside the locked premises, monitoring the battery displays and following battery and care guidance.
These terms do not remove any mandatory right or remedy available under applicable Ghana law. Where the written order gives a better benefit, the better written benefit applies.
