Look at the remaining battery level when you use the door and choose someone in the household to take responsibility for charging. The displays on the front and rear of DX11 Max make it possible to check from either side. Charge before the battery is depleted, following the instructions supplied with your unit.

4200 mAh describes battery capacity, not a guaranteed number of weeks or months between charges. Usage and enabled features can affect consumption. Ask for the charging procedure and compatible equipment at handover; do not assume a charging time, voltage or connector from another lock model.

If the battery is already depleted

The exterior emergency-power connection on DX11 Max can accept power from a compatible power bank so an authorized user can operate the lock. The power source does not replace the normal unlocking credential. Have the installer demonstrate the exact connection and opening procedure on your supplied unit while the door is open.

Treat this as temporary power for entry, not as proof that the main battery has been recharged. After entering, restore the battery charge using the product instructions. If the lock does not respond, avoid forcing the connector or dismantling the unit; use your authorized physical key or contact support.

Keep a backup that is actually accessible

A physical key is useful only if an authorized person can reach it when the door is locked. Agree a secure storage arrangement rather than leaving every key inside the property. Do not share key-location details or access codes in a general enquiry form.
